Meet the Management Team
DENNIS HEMPSTEAD – President / CEO
Dennis Hempstead has 27 years of experience in the field of people management. Most of his experience comes from the Hosiery Industry where he spent 13 years managing various departments within a manufacturing setting. Lowering production cost and making labor more efficient through better quality systems was a specialty skill that caused Dennis to take on the position of Quality Productivity Improvement Facilitator at the Florence, SC location. This job took him to other plants within the division where he was asked to present his methods and procedures in establishing team oriented formats related to quality and productivity improvement. Training and retraining became a big part of his program as he successfully trained and redirected over 300 employees into achieving higher standards of quality and productivity. These skills transferred over into the company CCS of South Carolina (formerly Carpet Care Specialist) which he is co-founder and is currently operating as its President and CEO. It was at this time that Dennis established the basic philosophy of delivering quality oriented and cost effective services through trained, capable and professional employees. This philosophy has propelled the company onto a successful growth track.
Dennis is certified as a quality productivity facilitator through Qual-Pro a quality consulting company that subscribes to the Deming Philosophy. He has completed several Industrial Engineering courses such as the Most Engineering Course, the I.E. certificate program and numerous other seminars related to the contract cleaning business as well as the carpet cleaning business. He is a standing member of: PCA (Professional Cleaners Association) in Racine, Wisconsin; BSCAI (Building Service Contractors Association International) in Fairfax, Virginia; MSDC (Carolinas Minority Supplier Development Council) in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Dennis also maintains a presence in his community by serving as a member of the board of directors for the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce, Co-Chairman of the Small & Minority Business Division of the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce, Member of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and board member of the S.C Small Business Council, Board of Trustees for Southeastern Health in Lumberton, NC and serves as Sr. Pastor at Minter’s Chapel First Born Church, Inc.
Dennis has a BS Degree in Textile Technology from NC State University in Raleigh, NC
ROBERT ADAMS – Chief Financial Officer
Robert Adams has been involved with the financial affairs of CCS of South Carolina, Inc. for the last 10 years. Robert represents the investor side of the equation within our company. His responsibilities include overseeing our financial planning and control process in an in-house format, to make sure ROI is at an acceptable level. Robert is responsible for analyzing all monthly management reports which include Profit and Loss Statements, Cash Flow Reports, Balance Sheets, and etc. He oversee the job of our in house controller that prepares our financial records for the CPA’s audits team, reviews and processes our financial records and prepares reports as needed for CPAs. One of his major functions is to keep us on track with our financial goals through analysis of the information and execution of plans to correct deficiencies. He has plenty of experience in the private sector as an outside consultant to small and large businesses. He has worked for several large companies in the Pee Dee area in high level accounting and consulting positions. Robert has an AA Degree in Accounting & Finance.
JUDY CAULDER – Office Manager / Human Resources
Judy joined the executive management team of CCS of South Carolina, Inc. in November of 2015. She has extensive experience in Human Resources and Account Management. Judy has an Associates Degree from Southeastern Community College in NC, with 26 years of experience in Human Resources and Mortgage Banking.
REGINA LANE – Accounts Receivable Manager / Operations Support
Regina joined the executive management team of CCS of South Carolina, Inc. in August 2017. A graduate of Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, Regina has more than 25 years of combined business experience.
SHERRY NORDINE – Accounts Payable Manager / Business Development
Sherry joined the executive management team of CCS of South Carolina, Inc. in January 2017. A Francis Marion University graduate with a B.B.A. in Marketing, Sherry is also a Leadership Florence Alumnus of the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce, recipient of Notable Networking Awards from Business Network International, and is currently serving as a board member of the FMU Alumni Association.
Clean World USA was founded in September of 1986 as Carpet Care Specialists, Inc., a specialized carpet cleaning company. In 1990, CCS expanded into the janitorial services market and began servicing commercial and industrial facilities.
In an effort to satisfy increasing demand, the Temp Clean division was established in 1994, allowing the company to venture into the temporary help services industry. The company’s rapid growth brought on the establishment of the International Cleaning and Training Institute in 1999.
To gain a stronger position in the marketplace and effectively promote it’s diverse offering, this new entity was restructured and renamed Clean World USA LLC in 2001.
Our goal is to become the industry leader in providing janitorial and green-cleaning services. To offer quality, worry-free service to our valued stakeholders – our customers, employees, suppliers and the communities in which we do business. We will accomplish this in a cost-effective manner utilizing a trained, capable and professional staff.
